A new phase of real estate registration begins for 46,538 properties in Riyadh and Qassim as part of the expansion of the Real Estate Registration System
The General Authority for Real Estate announced the start of the Real Estate Registration process for 46,538 properties in the Riyadh and Qassim regions, as part of the expansion phases of the Real Estate Registration System across several regions of the Kingdom.
The new phase includes 36,261 properties in the Riyadh region and 10,277 properties in the Qassim region. Registration will begin on September 6, 2026, and continue until December 10, 2026.
Real Estate Registration enables more accurate documentation of property data, rights, and obligations by linking ownership to the property’s geographical location and spatial data. This enhances the reliability of real estate information and supports greater stability in market transactions.
Upon completion of registration, the property receives a property number and a title registration deed containing key information, including its precise geographical location, owner details, property descriptions, status, associated rights and obligations, as well as any transactions affecting the property.
The Authority explained that initial registration will be available electronically through the Real Estate Registry platform or through service centers, subject to fulfilling the regulatory requirements and having a valid title deed that meets the necessary conditions for registration.
The expansion of Real Estate Registration represents an important step toward building a more accurate and comprehensive real estate database. This can contribute to greater market transparency and help different parties make real estate decisions based on clearer and more reliable data.
As new registration phases continue to be announced across different areas and neighborhoods, property owners should follow the areas covered by the announced phases and ensure that they meet the registration requirements within the specified deadlines.
