The Saudi real estate market is witnessing notable activity in real estate auctions during the second half of August 2026, with the Enforcement and Liquidation Center “Infath” announcing 95 real estate auctions taking place from August 15 to 31. The auctions include 1,043 diverse real estate assets offered for sale across several regions of the Kingdom. The Riyadh region leads in terms of the number of auctions, with 31 auctions involving 299 real estate assets, followed by the Makkah region with 23 auctions covering 277 assets, and the Eastern Province with 9 auctions involving 86 assets. The auctions also include the Qassim region, with 8 auctions and 120 real estate assets, in addition to auctions across the regions of Asir, Madinah, Tabuk, Hail, Al-Jouf, Jazan, Najran, the Northern Borders, and Al-Baha. The assets offered through these auctions vary in type, providing multiple channels for dealing with real estate assets according to approved procedures and regulations. They also allow investors and market participants to explore diverse real estate opportunities across different regions of the Kingdom. This activity comes as part of the role played by Infath in supervising liquidation and asset sales through auctions, contributing to organizing real estate asset sales, improving market efficiency, and enhancing transparency in asset disposal procedures. Auction activity remains one of the important indicators worth monitoring when tracking real estate market activity, particularly given the differences in the volume and type of assets offered from one region to another and the variety of opportunities available to investors and those interested in acquiring real estate assets.
